How it works
QuipDesk is never the merchant of record. You connect the gateway account you already have and money settles directly to you under your agreement with that provider.
PayFast
- 1In PayFast, open Settings → Integration and copy your Merchant ID and Merchant Key.
- 2Set a passphrase in PayFast and copy it too — it is strongly recommended.
- 3In QuipDesk, go to Settings → Payments → Gateways, open PayFast, paste the three values and save.
- 4Add the webhook URL shown in the dialog to your PayFast notify settings.
Yoco
- 1In the Yoco developer portal, create a secret key (sk_live_… for live payments).
- 2Paste it into the Yoco card in QuipDesk and save.
- 3Add the webhook URL shown in the dialog to Yoco's webhook settings.
Paystack
- 1In Paystack, copy your public key and secret key from Settings → API Keys & Webhooks.
- 2Paste both into the Paystack card in QuipDesk and save.
- 3Add the webhook URL shown in the dialog to Paystack.
Going live
- Leave Test mode on until you have completed one successful test payment.
- Switch Test mode off and swap in your live keys together — mixing test keys with live ones fails.
- Enable the gateway so it appears as a payment option in your client portals.
Secret keys are stored server-side and are never sent back to the browser. Leave a secret field blank to keep the key you saved before.
